Brig. Gen. Ronnie Balya 'ndc' is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to South Sudan since September 2018, focusing on promotion of the following;

-Regional peace and security for national stability and good neighborliness
-Regional integration for increased trade and commerce to benefit all Ugandans

-Provide diplomatic, protocol and consular services to both Ugandans and foreigners
-Strengthen institutional capacity of the Mission
-Mobilize the Diaspora for national development
-Sourcing of markets for Ugandan products and promotion of Uganda's tourism sector
